This year marks a significant milestone for Pinmar as we celebrate 50 years in business. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, professionalism and determination of the entire workforce across all departments around the globe.
To honour this momentous occasion, we hosted a special 50th anniversary event at Nikki Beach Mallorca on Friday 30th May, exclusively bringing together over 300 Pinmar staff from across Europe and the USA to celebrate our shared successes and recognising our remarkable achievements over the last 50 years.
This memorable evening of drinks, dinner and music was held to thank our existing and longstanding loyal employees with some special guests who have played an instrumental part in our journey. It was a joy to see so many familiar faces, both current and retired members of the Pinmar family gathered together.

Fifty years ago, in 1975, a visionary named Peter Allan founded this company. With little more than a paint brush, determination, courage, and an unwavering work ethic, he laid the foundations of what would become a global leader in yacht finishing and refit services.
Peter’s legacy lives on in the culture of excellence and family that still defines Pinmar to this day. We remember him with deep respect and gratitude, and all those who are sadly no longer with us but who played a part in shaping who we are.
Over the last five decades, Pinmar has evolved in remarkable ways. We’ve expanded across continents, painted some of the most iconic superyachts in the world, and led innovation in our industry. We’ve welcomed new friends through company mergers, been listed on the London Stock Exchange, and most recently started an exciting new chapter under MB92 Group.
There have been many milestones achieved – too many to count – but every one of them has been driven by one constant: our people. In total, more than 2,200 individuals have been part of the Pinmar family over these 50 years. That is a phenomenal legacy.
From our front-line painters and scaffolders, our project managers, logistics teams, senior management and the incredible people working behind the scenes to keep operations running 24/7 across the globe – each person, each role, each effort has added a brick to the foundation we stand on.
A company is not made of buildings, or boats, or numbers. It is made of people. Their dedication and hard work make Pinmar what it is.
As we head into our next 50 years, we continue to grow and lead with purpose and pride.
